We regret to say there are no respirators or
masks that
would effectively fit small children and so they must not be exposed
and must be restricted to an infection free environment. There are
supplied air hoods that would work for small children but they are
cumbersome start at $600 and don't seem to us to be practical.
We are working with a very
large and reliable
distributor who has
seen the sale of CDC recommended masks go from just 20 per week to over
200 per day in just the last week as the news of H5N1 Avian Influenza A
virus has been made available to the general public. Our distributor
informed us that during the SARS event not long ago the supply of the
disposable masks were exhausted in just a few days and became
unavailable. We have a good supply currently and hope to be able to
supply all who request the kits.
Preference will be given to anyone in a
quarantine area if there
is an
immediate outbreak. Prices subject to change without notice and
stock limited to availability.
